You can get a free picture of your own printed and sent to you free of charge by Canon.
The idea is that you select a printer to print from then they print and send the image to you so you can see the effects of the printer you chose!

I have had pictures printed using this before, there is something in the top right corner, and bottom left corner. I got pictures where what I wanted was elsewhere and then cut them up for my scrapbook

Not really useless as the purpose is to show you the print quality of a printer before you buy!

Send them a picture with extra bits on where they print onto. Then just cut them off?

Works if you know where they will print.
