This is seriously good spec laptop for the price and makes a change to those ugly Dell Vostros. Get an extra 1Gb Ram though as 1gig on XP is just about enough.

Picked one of these up for the same price a couple of weeks ago from laptops direct for my folks. I was very impressed for the money, well built, nice screen and has every extra you might need like bluetooth, webcam and memory card reader!

At the time It also came with a free extra 1gb ram upgrade form lenovo by redemption, I'm waiting for that to arrive. Also Quidco tracked at £7.35.

Only negative I can think of is that it did have a lot of unneccessary software installed on it, far more than my Dell xps but it didnt take long to sort that out.

I ordered this one a few weeks ago, paid it with my debit card and then ebuyer completely put me off with their security check:

"Please fax the following information with the heading 'Security Check' and your Order Number.

* A copy of the picture page of your Passport OR picture card of your UK Drivers License including your passport or drivers license number.
* If you do not hold a GB passport we will also need the issuing country of your passport.
* Your full address (as on drivers license)
* Your nationality.
* Date of birth.
* A utility bill that is at least 2 months old (if you are a business this must be a bill for your business) Acceptable utility bills are gas, water, electric or council tax. Unfortunately we are NOT able to accept telephone bills or bank statements."

Now I have volstro 1510 for £30 more, but is lighter, with way better CPU, 8400GS and 2GB Ram. Just wait for better dell deal

This is a great price, Estimatewd price on Lenovo website is £1034 but propably at around summer last year, still a huge saving.
