Obviously, due to it's native res, it will accept a 1080P signal but it downscales it.
Anyway, having 1080P on a screen this small would be pointless as you wouldn't see any difference.

Hot from me, as I like Vistron screens.

I always think stating its 1080p ready when it can't show it is a bit of cheat...there are gonna be a lot of people who don't realise it hasn't got a high enough res to show it and buy it thinking it can.

No component input? No HD output for xbox360 users with older machines then.

Can this be wall mounted?
Looks like it has 4 holes for a vesa bracket but can't make my mind up from the pictures.

The abuse of the word "ready" will eventually kill the word in everyday usage! How about these:-

Your dinner is fully ready (go and cook it yourself)
Train is fully ready on the platform (but not going)
etc..

Good price for the 22", not for me, try to avoid black colour, have enough of these black units already, any more the house would be pitch black.

Could you use a VGA cable?

VGA, which is better than component anyway.

I have mentioned it before, but will say it again anyway...

I bought one of these a couple of months ago, Paid slightly more £190.

I don't like this TV.

- The case is flimsy (don't notice when up on a wall though)
- The sound is appalling (really tinny - sounds like a transistor radio)
- The Analogue tuner is poor - Interference patterns, grainy image.
- Can't comment on digital - Never been able to try it.
- It can turn itself on from Standby. Not good in the middle of the night.
- There is no power button.
- There are no Sky remote code for this TV.

Having said all that, if you are using it a monitor then it should be OK.

I have just replaced this with a Samsung LE23R86. The difference is enormous. Crystal clear picture (no interference at all on analogue), brilliant bassy sound, sky codes, build quality. You get so much more for the extra £100.

I have heard "Buy cheap, Buy twice" on this forum many times - Never thought it would apply to me!!

dawg "- It can turn itself on from Standby. Not good in the middle of the night."

My Samsung plasma used to do this... due to the "automatically check for new firmware" which would be through the digital receiver.... Setting it to manual solved it..... Your Samsung set might do the same thing....

He said your Samsung MIGHT do this, implying that it may turn its self on time to time - even if you haven't experienced it yet...
