i got this sim card and it gave me 1000 texts for free after registering, they said can keep number or have another, im not sure if get the texts unless u take a new number and they told me i could have free calls after 7pm to orange phones cos my partner got that on his but so far they havent done that for me.. am ringing them today ...

I signed up to Orange PAYG on one of these deals back in October. Had no end of trouble getting them to actually honour the deal.

First the texts didn't arrive, call CS: "You have to top up £10".

First of all that's wrong, because that's not in the ad and AFAIK neither in the T&Cs.

A couple of long drawn out calls and I gave up and topped up.

300 texts were added but didn't start for about a month or so. This was clearly the 300 that you're supposed to get if you top up by £10 in a month anyway.

I phoned and complained, again, and they kept saying the can't do anything. Eventually got a manager who, second or third call later, got it sorted.

Not worth the hassle imho.
