FOUND BY: RedIron 4 months, 3 weeks ago

FarmFoods are currently selling 6 jar packs of Cow and Gate baby food for £1

There are several different flavours available and they come in stages 2 and 3, these are currently 62p for stage 2 and 86p for stage 3 per jar in Asda

The jars do have a shorter use by date on them (August 2008) but that is still plenty of time left

Here's An Idea
When You Cook Food For Yourself Blendsome And Feed It To Your Baby
Then You Dont Have To Buy These At All.

Dont Be Drawn In To Thinking "you Need This For Your Baby"

Babys Are Human And They Can Eat Human Food Too...............

I Hate The Pre Packaged Branded Rubbish

Thy All Use The Same Marketing Techniques To Sell It To You
They Try To Make You Feel Like A Bad Parent If Ou Don Give This Junk To Your Kids
It Is Shamefull...

Apologies For The Rant.

Well you could do but as you well know our foods are high in salt ect which is in fact very bad for babies

Also it's very handy to keep a supply of these in your cupboard so when you go out you have the food conveniently in a jar ready to go

And I know exactly what I can and can't give to my daughter and I do blend up food for her but say for example I have a Curry for dinner, a low fat meal or anything that is fried she cannot have it meaning I have to go to all of the trouble of cooking her another meal, whereas I could give her one of these jars which cost me under 17p and save all the trouble.

Rant Over

i make extra portions whenever my baby can eat what we are, then freeze them, he will not even touch a jar now, they taste yuck- try them! if i have to i use ellas pouches, which are purely fruit & veg, nothing added, yep they are 75p each, however i try to use them occasionally so any one know where these are on offer, that would be great!

Wicked deal - thanks! ALTHOUGH i would like to add to the argument that these jars are made for babies therefore not junk, they also help count towards the 5 a day! I dont always give these to my little girl as i freeze some of our meals for her as well!

i agree they are horrid, and my little one wont eat them but i do buy the pudding / fruit jars for when im out and about as a lot of places wont heat up home cooked food due to health and safety, its already been cooked.

why start the 'give this - dont give this to your child' debate SHAUNMILLS? you sounded really patronizing. its a parents choice what they ive their child. me, personally im not going to justify or even comment on what i feed my child. what i am going to do it comment on the deal.

I agree, don't make people feel guilty for buying baby food. There are worse things going on in the world you know.
