sounds like a good deal although a few companies have gone bust recently resulting in people losing out, £400 is a lot to lose.

I doubt they are part of CPW. Nothing on the about us [age to indicate this.

Unless you are sure it is owned by CPW I would avoid this one.

I've used them before. Used to be very good but last time round they suddenly dropped the ball and I had a right hassle with them, having to chase them up all the time. They blamed a data loss incident but it was obviously a stalling tactic, hoping that people would forget to chase them up. I would avoid.

Lost £360 on Coolnewmobile cashback NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN.

They rejected my cashback claim which I followed to the letter- so had to go through all the hassle of sending a LBA and then completing MCOL for full cashback + interest and costs. They never contested it in court (didn't show up!)

I won my claim in full but they still messed me about for my settlement. Had to threaten sending Bailiffs to seize goods- got my money quite quickly after that.

It was actually quite fun using the law to kick their ass and got all my cashback in one go

Wouldn't bother with cashback via redemption again. Too much hassle

I just noticed this post.

I got two contracts from mobileshop - ordered at the same time - and sent to the wrong address.

It went worse from there - as subsequently when the bills were sent in at the same time - they paid one cash back but screwed us on the higher cashback for 125 quid.

Don't chance it with them - I also had to chase them for the freebies that were meant to come with the phone - and then for both cashbacks both times.

Additionally - in the past they entirely froze paying cashbacks - and I dont know if these were honoured - check the net to see.
