Quidco have upped there holiday auto's cashback making it really cheap if you need to hire a car for the day just £20 (Ford KA)

Holiday autos also do great deals on carhire at holiday destinations.

you need to compare with uk prices as it is more expensive to hire a car here than in malaga.

using this deal it would cost £67 for the week in malaga - so this is cheaper.

i find if you go to the enterprise web site, you can get car hire for a grade 1 (Ford KA) for 15 pounds. You need to book upfront....

If someone is looking for cheap car hire in UK, 1car1 is the best offer. They do not have any cash back, but the prices are very competitive and almost brand new cars.

yes but you have to pay excess damage waiver with holiday autos. my £70 quote already included CDW & EDW.

Btw, never ever rent from easycar. check their T&Cs as you are liable if the car gets damaged and you fail to get other drivers details.

Beware of one thing with Holiday Autos - often their terms require you to purchase a full tank of fuel at the time of hiring. This could easily add another £40 - 50 to your booking!

I'm not sure this is across the board so just check the terms before you book (and some agents might waive it if you ask nicely) - but unless you're going to burn through the whole tank in a day then it makes the deal look significantly worse.

(It's impossible to 'bring the car back empty' like they say anyway, so you inevitably lose out a little.)

Personally, I generally hire with Enterprise. They're cheap and I've never had anything but great service from them.

Good point. I always just book with ones where you have to leave the tank at the same level. Got charged £40 in the canaries for a tank of fuel. at only 80p a litre there is no way a Ford Ka takes 50 litres!

took it back with half a tank left as there was no way I could use the whole tank in 1 week even though I thrashed the pants off it.

I normally go to www.travelsupermarket.com, they compare Hertz, Holiday Autos, 1car1, etc etc

Hertz are normally quite cheap if you book in advance, and rent from Heathrow. They offer £8 quidco.

Example: booking a Ford Ka for the last Saturday of May will cost you £21 - £8 Quidco = £13

I use holidayautos all the time, as I travelto Brussels a lot and need to drive from there. I pay about £190 a week but its the cheapest here. Company reimburse me so I am not too worried but pocket the £10 quidco
