If this is true, then brilliant...but you'd think the idiots would promote it a bit more! My missus has a student card, and we'd be more tempted to buy from them if this is the case.

There's a Somerfield in my village and it is well expensive. Us students deserve the 5% off for them prices!!!
May use it for the booze though when they have offers on.
My mates will be quite impressed with this piece of information.

I have two Somerfield stores in my town, neither of them knew about this discount. I emailed Somerfield customer services to ask about it. They replied asking me to send my details and NUS card number. Promptly received lovely 5% card to use in all stores subject to their usual terms and conditions. Not a huge discount, but it certainly helps!!!
