Same setup, but with 3072MB of memory and 22" Monitor was only £529.93 last month (22 April - D044019)

Increase monitor and memory to this system and it checks out at £610+

It's what I want but I can wait........

W1zz, no need, just order it as it is above, get the memory elsewhere (for next to nothing) and flog the monitor on Ebay and buy the one you want from elsewhere to save another fortune.

At first this seems a really good price - but when you look at the components you realise that you could put it together for quite a bit less if you were not intending on using windows - and get quite a bit better spec.

But if you are buying a PC for the first time and dont really know enough to put one together then its quite good.

Neither HOT or COLD!!!

The Intel Q6600 processor is about £131 and Vista Ulitmate is currently £117. Hot deal if you are not bothered about high performance graphics for games - would make a good study/work machine at this price.

Many thanks Mike,

Is the upgrade to 22" worthwhile, seems to be only £20.

I just upgrade to 22" monitor, upgraded k/b, speakers and added firewire and card reader and got
£35 off plus free del and it came to £476 inc VAT

I need a new general purpose business machine, including some video editing. Is this the machine that people would recommend or is it worth waiting for a better deal.

Many thanks
Flix
