I have the vanilla version of this board..the basic Abit IP-35 E I think it is, was only £50 from scan. Very good board, this one just has a few more shiney bits on it..

Yep - IP 35 E is the smaller brother

Pro version has more bells and whistles mostly aimed for those wanting to push their components or have more control over specific settings

Probably same people that voted cold on the E8200 listing which now appears to be over 300 deg

The problem with the iP35 board range is that more than the tiniest bit of overclocking kills the standby and hibernate features.

Gigabyte P35 boards also have issues with standby when over-clocking although it varies depending on which chip you use. I ran a Q9300 at 400MHz+ with no problems but an E4500 had problems at 333MHz FSB on the same board and BIOS version.
