Yeh we always just eaten them on their own with nowt else and been enough not too much,it's 1 of the foods we bought if short of cash.

as a student was my standard meal... a la fish fingers.... would eat it and be stuffed....so defo worked out economical! although i never got em right.... my friend who lived a couple doors down was perfect at ensuirng they never stuck to the pan and were the perect consistency..... i was...and still am lame...at making them!

I must have been a failure as a student. I used to cook proper food - roasts and chicken pies and home-cooked soup and the like. We even made our own falafel as we had a vegan in the house
