That if you have a uniform at work you can claim back £200 tax for washing it??

If so anyone know what form you need?

I think you can, but there's some weird regulation where the uniform has to have a company logo on it, to sort of "prove" it's not just normal clothing I suppose.

whatever makes you tick I suppose!

Looks like you do it through an amendment to your tax code and a letter to the tax office is required:

Work Tel: XXXXXXX

Email: XXXXXXXX

Tax Code XXXX

I am writing in order to have my tax code amended to take into account my expenditure on washing the Company Uniform with logo’s worn in my current post as a XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.

I would like to claim retrospectively for the maximum period, which I believe to be 6 years, and have enclosed the latest copy of my P60.

Yours

XXXX
