EXPIRED - Arbelour single malt whisky (10 yr old) was £24.99, now £14.99 Co-op Shop

£14.99

122°

FOUND BY: chief_josh 1 month, 2 weeks ago

I was in the Co-op shop in Irlam O' The Heights (Salford) and spotted the 70cl single malt Aberlour (10 yr old) down a tenner from £24.99 to £14.99.

I would presume but am not certain that this offer is available in all Co-op stores.

This whisky is very good. A similar offer was on at Sainsbury's about 6 months ago. When it was finished I wished I'd bought 2.
I'll be stopping by my Coop today.
Great post - heat added.

Whiskey is Irish so it's clearly counterfeit & I would steer clear of it :-)

Planet Scotland. Whisky is Scottish, whiskey is Irish. And it's Aberlour!

Try Isle of Jura. A very nice smooth drink without the harsh peaty taste some can have, and many people are not keen on. Is a tad more expensive, but often I find Asda can have some good deals on it.

I thought he played for Liverpool?

This is a nice drop though, well worth the £14.99

Good offer for a good Speyside Malt.

The Co-op are quite good for these offers but sometimes only in their smaller stores. They used to do the Tomatin 12 year old Malt too but not not in a while :(

whats the tax on booxe these days ?

70% or something ?

kinda sad paying £ 10 in tax, for a £ 15 bottle of any booze....

do the governement not trust people to drink sensibly - so they have to tax us so high, that we can only afford to buy so much of it ???

doesnt seem to be this problem in most of europe, only the colder climate countries seem to have high tax on booze............wonder why ???
