Digital post it..??

Hi everyone hope someone can come to my rescue.
I foolishly dragged one of my desk top post-it notes onto Mozilla browser ...it vanished without a trace.Spent hours nothing! It contains valuable information so desperate for any helpful tips(thanks)

i presume you mean the Vista sidebar notes?

C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Sidebar\Settings.ini will
contain the text entered in the Notes.

However, I don't think it retains the information if you either delete the
note page or close out the note gadget.

Well i bet thats a bug no one thought to test for, pah useless software engineers ;)
try right clicking on desktop and selecting "undo move"

if you can remember any text in the note try searching your machine for files that include that text "", there may be a copy hidden in a cache somewhere
