GTA IV (PS3) @ PC World - £36.00 using Price Match

£36.00

FOUND BY: caseh 1 year, 6 months ago

Just popped over to my local PC World and picked up a copy of GTA IV for the PS3 (Retail £39.99) and asked them to run a price match against ASDA which retail it at £37.93

Final sale price came through at £36 which was a pleasant surprise, next best price I know of is 37.99 from shopto.net.

New to this deal business so not sure if this could be combined with Quidco and the 5% off for home delivery during May. But for those of you looking to pick it up on the high street this is a pretty good price.

Not too sure why this has gone cold considering people are willing to pay £35 for it second hand

My dad picked one up from pc world for my son on wednesday, classed as pre owned as it had been brought back. He was told it had only been opened and not played and they where going to charge full price but in the end price matched it to asda online.
When he brought it to me it had in my opinion obviously been used as it was slightly scratched and i wanted to take it back then as apart from being scratched i didn't see how they could price match a pre owned one. Anyway to cut a long story short it kept crashing and went back only to have to pay £45 for one from game station as them and game were the only ones that had it.

tried to price match in game station but was told they don't price match to online prices, and they would only price match to tesco or asda prices if they had them in stock
Stupid man, i would have bought it in tesco or asda if they had it in stock!!
