ebay trouble

wasnt parcelforce was it? i,m waiting for a package thats on their tracking system saying its out for delivery this is STILL on the 30th of april lol, rung them up n they say its appears to be lost, even tho its got a tracking number annoying isnt it,

What is the seller doing about it?

some casual Postman working these days might stolen it.

To be fair to the Seller its the flaming post office that's lost the thing. What can the seller do once he/she has posted it? If its lost, its lost! The only real resolution after that is:

1. Find it and deliver it...er I think that's NOT going to happen!

2. Compensation from the post office to the person who should have received it.

But it all depends on what delivery you paid for. The post office have multiple ways of getting out of these things..... "ah, you sent it normal post did you? Ah well, that's not covered under any compensation so that's it"!!! Its an absolute joke.

Not true, every item posted is compensated for £34 if you have proof of postage regardless of type or cost of post.

The seller will have to refund the OP as I believe you should have a trackable post.

if you have already escalated your claim there is nothing more for you to do and it's up to the seller.

what if paypal favors the seller due to the tracking number? that'll leave me without the dvd and money, the seller could be lying.

they will only find in sellers favour if the tracking shows its been delivered.
Of course there is a simple way round that for a dishonest seller :(

Quite a price for a dvd in this day and age - what with all the cheap deals going around. What was the dvd maybe you could find it else where and leave paypal to sort it out. If the seller does not have any evidence of it being delivered to you then paypal will work in your favour and you should receive a refund. If you used a credit card through paypal you could always contact your cc provider as well and advise non-delivery of items. should have some recourse through them too if paypal not assisting.

send a random letter to someone in the same street, so it will show up as delivered for their local sorting office, etc..
Not hard to get around the "assurances" of PayPal impartiality. All they want is their cut, nothing else.
