Tosh 2.5'' External Hard Drive. There're a few places selling at this price , not really sure of the quality but perhaps from the viewpoint of instant availability /collectability may not be bad deal. Comments very welcome as I've trawled the web looking for at least a 400GB 2.5'' drive at a decent price.
2.5'' 500GB drives all appear to be hovering around the £150 mark. Seen any cheaper?

in googling Hitachi TravelStar 5K500 this morning i came across a company called lambadatek or something that had one customer return 500gig 2.5" sata laptop HD for £135 inc shipping. a saving of £15 as it was an unboxed, unused, customer return.

personally i was hoping on the £100 price barrier being broken on the 2.5" drives. i was wanting a pair of them for my new dell vostro 1700. i've currently got 2x160gig drives in it, so i'd be paying for a 340gig increase in size on each drive effectively. i could reuse or sell the existing drives, but external drives on a laptop is a pain, as is reselling

the tosh isn't a bad price in general for a 320gig isn't it? to upgrade just another 160gig it's not worth it for me though

This is a good price for a 320GB drive.
I can't see a 320GB drive for this price anywhere.
Ebuyer have the same drive for £95.
Maybe one of the many cold voters will leave a comment where they can get one cheaper?

Good price for drive + enclosure. Drive by itself though could be bought cheaper elsewhere for maybe just shy of a tenner less.
Without an enclosure?
That's the point surely, an external 2.5" 320gb portable drive.
