That's pretty much my thoughts exactly! Only 720p but still, a huge amount of screen for the cash. The Panasonic might be a better deal, I don't know. Richer Sounds do have a habit of not having these bargains in stock...

if i was placed in the position to choose one, i'd go for the panasonic, mainly because, its a panasonic. it may well be "badge snobbery" but in such instances like TV's. DVD players etc, you do pay for quality and the panasonic definitely is just that.

i havent heard of this brand before, so dont know if they are reliable, or if they produce quality goods.

Sorry m8 but ive gotta say if i had that much cash to spend on a 50" then id sooner spend a little bit extra and go for the Panny (imo one of the leading producers of flatscreen tvs in the world). Never heard of Promax so would be a little apprehensive on the quality of this one.

Agree. For that extra money I would go for something more prominent with reliability and a proven brand.

likewise it's not worthwhile spending close on £700 when for almost that you could get a known and more trusted brand.
Never been a believer in spending significant money on unbranded goods! (with electricals anyway...don't give a stuff about clothing brand)
