cheap if you can collect.

The only problem with this Philips is that it is a disposabal shaver.
In that you pay £12 for the shaver and £24 for replacement blades!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

edit - Yep Philips are a top drawer landfill King.

So many things are like this nowadays, printers being the prime example £20 for the printer including inks and more than £20 to replace the inks! - Shame as Landfill ends up getting more stuff as a result.

Had one of these for about 3 years. As long as you clean it properly (take the foils apart and clean all the gunge out) regularly it will last a good while.

Seems to get fairly good reviews.

At under a tenner it isn't going to last forever (althought it isn't a disposable? The grid is prone to breakage if you aren't careful, but the blade can be released for cleaning) but you should get a couple of years from it. It's a convenience shave really - 60 min use on 2 AA batteries vs waiting for a charge on a traditional shaver while you are in a rush, or even out camping etc isn't an option. Would be a good cheap fathers day gift as long as you can get to an asda to avoid postage costs online.
