I got a HannsG when Amazon had the £100 19" DVI model offer a year or so ago.
No problems at all, perfect picture.
Thinking of an upgrade, and for an HDMI this is looks a good price.

Does anyone know if this monitor can receive sound through HDMI? Was thinkin of connecting the PS3 to it. Also, would an LCD monitor be better than TFT?

I always thought that TFT was the same as LCD...

Sound is what makes HDMI different from DVI (which is image only). TFT is the same as LCD.

I bought one of these for a similar price back in January. It's a great monitor with only a couple of bad points. First off, it will only do 60Hz at 1680x1050. My previous monitor did 75Hz at 1440x900 and was much easier on the eyes. Took me a while to get used to is all. Secondly, I can confirm that the HDMI carries both audio and video, but only to the internal speakers which are, frankly, terrible. There is a headphone socket as well but I've never tried it.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot, switching between VGA/HDMI is a pain, as you have to go through the menus.

Still, great monitor for the price.

Thats a nice price.

I bought my 22" Cibox C2201 from Scan for £184 last year and I thought that was a great price at the time.

Monitors are becoming really cheap now.

Have you connected a 360 or PS3 to the monitor? I just wanted to know if the picture will get distorted when using it on this monitor. Thanks

this monitors been that price for ages its been posted on here before ive got one of them there a good monitor ive connected my 360 to it works perfect sound as well but its **** sound.

i have this monitor and its ace. nice bright colours, seemlessly switches between pc and hdmi for ps3.

ps3 picture is clear and sound is fine - perfectly reasonable.

great price

i bought it about six months ago for £140
