quote from review here

http://www.hdtvorg.co.uk/reviews/lcd..._TX26LXD70.htm

:
First impressions indicate that the TX26LXD70 like its older brother the TX32LXD70, is a hugely accomplished screen.

In fact, the two screens are nearly identical in performance apart from the display of Standard Definition pictures. With a High Definition source colours are the richest we have ever seen on a 26in LCD, with a sharpness and vibrancy that is simply unmatched on any comparable flat panel. Colours are deeper and more natural than anything the other major manufacturers have to offer.

The only area where the TX26LXD70 differs from the TX32LXD70 is in the display of Standard Definition, which it does better than its older brother. Freeview was even sharper and more vibrant than on the TX32LXD70 which itself excelled in this area.

You need to get really up close to the screen before detecting any blurriness, video noise or motion smearing.

The improved 100hz refresh rate looks like it has a big impact on this screen. Fast panning, especially the type seen on detailed action movies or sports coverage is remarkably free of motion blur or smearing.

Inconsistencies are still visible, with a tendency for loss of focus the most notable, but the TX26LXD70 is nevertheless a leap forward for LCD motion handling capabilities.

Sonically the TX26LXD70 does a good job and never struggles with the more demanding parts of a movie soundtrack. It would have been nice though if it had the V-Audio Surround - Smart Sound Speaker System and SRS Trusurround XT found on the TX32LXD700.

mentally challenged people amongst us could be voting cold due to 32" lcds being available for the same money

As far as I can see this is one of the hottest deals of the last week or so. Hopefully voters see sence.

Whoever votes this cold doesn't have a clue about LCD TVs.
This TV won the 2007 What Hi-Fi award.
Also check 16 positive votes on amazon: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Panasonic-TX...&s=electronics

Thank you OP, ordered, voted HOT and reputation given!
At this price (£150 to £300 cheaper than elsewhere), this item will sell in no time!

Thanks for all your thoughts. I really can't understand why people are voting this cold.

I thought I was going a little mad!!! £360 (delivered) is a bargain, and will take pride of place in my new bedroom.

PS.. I will posting my 26" LCD (non freeview) JVC in due course.

All credit to juliet bravo who posted the 13% off code. Heat added as it saved me over £50!

Could of had another £10.50 from Quidco if I had thought on. Too busy trying to enter the checkout details to clinch the deal.

I was only looking on Bargaincrazy whilst try to purchase shirts from Van Heusen (another deal this evening) . Site is 100 times slower than half cost. or the site doing the cheap towels.

No shirts but a pretty hot TV on the way.

STILL REPORTING IN STOCK @ 00.19AM

I fancied the 32" version of this for ages, but my lcd in longe is only a couple of years old, so when I seen this deal jumped at this instead for the bedroom thanks jrob01.

Voted toasty because its a cracking TV, my folks have one! We don't all want 32" tellies, and smaller screen ones tend to cost quite a lot more than the slightly bigger ones!

SID1763 did you get an order number or confirmation when you purchased. I submitted payment through the Barclays web page and printed the success receipt. However, I expected an email from Bargaincrazy to confirm the order!
