Wanted: Hard Tail bike

POSTED BY: Grimmie75 2 months, 2 weeks ago

Hi,

I'm in the running for a decent Hard Tail mountain bike as I need to get fitter, and miss my cycling.

Currently looking on the bay of dodge every week for something right, but thought I'd try a different angle too by posting here.

After something similar to a Focus Raven or Orange Evo8 / P7, must be at least 19 inch frame.

Any body selling something, know anyone, got any suggestions etc, would be more than welcome.

Cheers,

Grimmie

Best hard tail frame I have ever riden, has got to be the Giant XTC range. Check out their website.

If you are after something a bit different, have you thought about on-ones single speed bikes?? I prefer the 26" version, but the magazines seem to favour the 29" version. I think on-one only do 18" or 20" frames, so personally I would go for the 20". Giant do odd numbers so picking up a 19" shouldn't be a problem

If it is simply for fitness, riding single speed will have a greater affect.

Take a look:

Hope that helps

Cheers for the tips I will have a look at the Giant range.

I used to have a custom made Merlin, until it went walkies, so think I'll stick with the geared version as I do go off trail every now and then.
