so how can these be returns if these are excluded ?
My local Argos always has a large display cabinet of 'manager specials', wii's, tom toms, cameras, mp3 players, ipods and a few other things. I know for a fact that the ipods (also excluded from the 30-day return) are customer returns from Argos or even elsewhere, I can only presume customers return them claiming that they are faulty in order to get round the 30-day return. They are then sent off to a company that does a refurbish which usually just means they just check they are clean and working and replace any missing accessories. They're great and I've bought many of them. In the case of the manager special Wii's, judging by the number on sale I suspect they are not Argos returns but rather a special purchase from the distributor where the packaging isn't perfect and that would explain why people have reported that the contents look untouched. Worth buying in my opinion to save £20 since Argos will exchange if you get landed with a duff looking one particularly since the 30-day exclusion is not mentioned at point of sale since they have no catalogue entry and unique catalogue number.
