It was my birthday on the 27th (past friday) and as per this thread http://hotukdeals.com/item/199308/sold-o2-xda-exec-htc-universal-pda I decided to get myself an 02 XDA.

Following the deal being made I asked Sam how much it would be to have next day delivery (for Saturday) - he said £10 and that was fine by me. So by 11am on Friday, I had taken 10 minutes off work to nip down to my bank and send over £110 to him. I then sent a PM to him to confirm and heard nothing. Later on friday I got a message saying "Sorry - was at work, couldn't post". Which I questioned - seeing as he had already agreed that it would be possible for him to post it that day and had been online at 4:20pm - giving him plenty of time to post it. I was then told I was being unreasonable and offered a refund of the £10. I said ok, but was still questioning why he had made a deal that it appeared he couldn't complete - which was met with silence.

I have no phone, am minus £110. Have no contact for the person who has both the phone and my money....

I'm not happy....

Oh - And I would just like to point out this from the thread in which I bought his phone "Would accept BT, NoChex or postal orders"....yet when I offered to pay by NoChex in PM he simply told me he couldn't accept NoChex....only Bank Transfer....

didnt that ring alram bells if he first offered a payment method them withdrew it??
Sorry if you have been scammed . But i would of definitely thought twice for anything over a tenner if seller changed the way i could pay him

Looking at his feedback on here makes me believe this one will be alright.

When you mention Friday, are you referring to Friday just gone or the week before? - If the it's the Friday just gone I would suspect you will get your item early this week.

Yeah friday just gone. I would like to think I'll get it. But it's A) The principal of the thing, him saying "Yeah ok, I can do next day delivery" and then making an excuse as to why he can't after he gets the money and B) The fact that his user info says roughly 10 posts per day since he joined a month a go - yet he can't respond to someone he's taken £110 off?

I'll give it until the end of tomorrow - But if i haven't received either the phone or a PM from him with a bloody good reason as to why he hasn't done anything - Then i'm taking a trip :D

I cant believe how premature you are making this thread. It was only 2 days ago you paid for it. Patience is a virtue, try waiting for more than 5 minutes might be an idea dont you think. I think its very wrong of you to bad mouth him when its been such a short space of time

omg i agree i presumed he meant friday the 21st not the 28th. I cant believe you throwing ya dummy out the pram just cos it didnt turn up yesterday. It might of been sent and the post office failed to deliever on time you just never know id wait until at least tuesday lunch time before id POLITELY contact the seller.
If i was sam id make you wait now after starting a thread like this on HUKD

if you are going to make a trip because he hasnt sent your item why didnt you make the trip to collect and pay at the same time
