But the Western Digital is a lot cooler and half the weight of the Freecom drive And this is definitely the cheapest I've seen for the 320GB model.

I'd avoid Pixmania. Not a good shopping experience. Most items come from France and you will have problems if you need a service or don't speak french (to understand the manual).

True, im not a big fan of Pixmania. But I don't see why you would need a manual for an external hd.
