I'll vote hot, but don't waste your time mate, I posted the exact same deal the other day... And you can see how well that went down with some.

Best to add into the title the fact that the delivery is not included. Still a decent deal.

Read the thread, makes perfect sense to me. I agree not including the delivery price is misleading

sorry guys!

Especially when the delivery cost is more than twice the cost of the product and a lot more than it would cost to actually send it.

ahhh another one of those people who thinks the post & packing only covers the actual stamp cost, how about the jiffy bag, the wages of the person packing the jiffy bag, the cost of the credit/debit transaction, the cost of transferring the payment to the bank account, then there is the VAT on these charges, remember business have to pay VAT on postage costs received but not pay VAT on the postage so this money goes straight into the governments pocket. All these things need to be paid for, as you can see that costs a lot more than just a stamp

I understand all of this, but how can websites like http://www.theskippinghippo.co.uk do postage charges of £1.25 ?

You would expect the smaller sites to have the higher charges

Also I assume this is how play can get away with free delivery because of their vat exemption

Sorry what has “the cost of the credit/debit transaction, the cost of transferring the payment to the bank account” to do with P+P charges
