Good price for a good item. I paid 3.99 for it. It charges a Sony NWZ model Walkman , a Motorola PEBL phone, and an XDA orbit phone no probs. Will be perfect for hols.

Don't know about an iPod though. I hate fruit players!

I have one of these and it's great for my sat nav and mp3 player that only usually charges up when plugged into the computer.

I have not tried the camera yet though.

I think this deal is better at £4.99

http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/20631...-universal-us/

just received mine from play.com and its output voltage is higher at 1000mA, it charges my new ipod nano fine, plus it has the multiple plug heads, and the adapter auto switches to adjust to all input voltages. all for just extra £2.

Great prices. I just plug my ipod and phone into my wii when the pc isn't on. They still charge while the wii is on standby, unlike on the computer. But this is very useful for those who don't have other devices with usb ports.

Yet the review on the Play site says it don't charge the NWZ Sony's!

Finding a device to charge my NWZ Sony is becoming a right pain. I've bought 2 from Deal Extreme and tried all the ones sold in Maplins, no luck, yet any computer USB port charges it without a problem!

Thanks for clarifying that Zaft. I have repped you on that thread!

Can you get a USB hub and quickly charge loads of USB devices at once?

Thanks for pointing that out. I've just bought a Sony and the "official" charger is out of stock everywhere although delivery seems to be expected on 10 July at some of the stores.

I got this one too and it charges my iPod touch no worries. I just want to point out though that the price has risen to £6.99 now. I still would recommend this if you have one of the new iPod ranges though as the device in the main title doesn't seem to charge the new gen of iPods.

I don't see why not as long as you use a powered usb, maybe like this one:

Hope that helps!

yes, but you must power the hub through its power port (with its own AC-DC adapter, not through the USB Bus) and you must allow 500ma per port, so with a 4 port hub to charge 4 devices at once would need a power supply capable of at least 2 amps DC.
