Just been scouring looking for a new washing machine and spotted this, 50£ cheaper than all other places and the 12£ code for tesco direct works fine and its free delivery , not many left i don't think "Final chance to buy - Order now whilst stocks last.".

Mine died yesterday and I fixed it by spinning the drum a couple of times - all fine now

Don't think this is a particularly awesome model - seems expensive without a screen or funky LEDs

Warm from me...

Looks ok - but they have v poor reliability reports. Spend the extra £50 and get a Bosch (or make sure you take the extended warranty).

We got a hotpoint - (14 funky LEDs that flash when it breaks down - might be 11 - who cares really).

It came with a '5 year parts warranty' - which is probably the biggest con and misdescription I have heard.

When it failed you can only use their engineer - and if he does not have the part - you must pay for each visit for him to come out - i think it was a 80 quid call out - so if he happens to not have the part on him - it was a 160 quid.

When you point out its a racket - they offer you a new warranty (on a product you are calling telling them its broken) - for about 150 quid they will fix it and offer a years full warranty - they then added the repair man seldom has the parts first time.

So if it has this extended parts only warranty then ignore it - as its a con.

got a similar model, was told by my independant that the ultima and aquarius+ ranges where more unreliable due to lcd screen and more complex electronics, also told that the wash cycle was much quicker, if I put the machine on mini-load it is 1 hr from start to finish and washes to a very good standard

I voted hot because it's the cheapest of this model and I thought that was the whole point of voting!

It's a decent machine, the fancy smancy electronic display ones just mean more things can break and more money when they do - I know from experience.

listen guys den and den 38 are correct
the point is not whether it is the best in the market its the best deal for that item.
Its up to you to decide whether an item is good. All hotukdeals is for is getting you the best price. If it is a sh it model then add it too the comments

Our old Hotpoint model was the one that used to 'chew' clothes on and off. It lasted quite a while, but only because you had to worship it on your hands and knees with the back off about twice a year. Bit of a philosopher's axe in the end.

The 2x Zanussi's I've experienced since have each lasted for longer than 5years without failure.

This is an Merloni re-badge of an Indesit model, made in Italy as they all are now.

Not the best model by far there are worse out there
