lexmark are the trabant of the printer world...they also make dell's printers...so frozen from me...you are better off with epson, canon, hp..and also samsung for their mono lasers...

only an idiot would think that a printer is good value because its cheap.....it is false economy if the running costs are high.....

i have a monochrome laser (samsung ml-3051n) and they are dirt cheap to run and i rarely print in colour...and i print 1000+ pages a month (the samsung is still on its stock so called 4000 page cart...more like 8000 so far!)....i also have a decent colour printer/fax/copier/scanner (hp officejet 7210) for printing colour/photos when i want to (better quality than most photo print shops!)...both are network printers and i paid not alot for either too, £60ish (laser) and £80ish last year.

Well said! Thanks to the OP but IMHO, lexmarks should be banned from this site

Well I use a Lexmark at work (i work in IT) it's really old and is still the best printer in the whole office.

Plus, offer-wise this is a good deal as it's prob the cheapest you can get it. When you post a deal next should I vote it cold because i 'don't want it'????????

This might be a useful deal for someone.

All the negative c**p on here puts you off posting deals and isn't that the aim of the site?????

well i wasn't actually referring to you csiman but I don't really see the cost of running it as much of a problem.

£10 for an ink cartridge every now and then isn't really gonna break the bank possums

My lexmark (Z605) only printed about 20 pages before being empty. It cost me a fortune until I finally opted for a laser printer for about £60 that prints 10,000 pages per cartridge.
