First one is a very old bug. Not sure if anything can be done, but here goes....

You get told a new PM has arrived, you open your inbox, but see no new messages. The only way to see it is to refresh the loaded page. Not a massive issue if you know what you are doing and know the bug, but a bug all the same and probably fools lots of members!

Second bug is all down to the changes when the voucher link was added. The Meassage panel now only shows "messages" and no longer "99 out of 100". You can probably guess why thats a problem! Whilst I know good housekeeping is good advice, often you have no clue that your mail box is full until you check your personal email box where you find a message "Your PM box is full".

Can this be returned to show the allocation of used mail once more to avoid the problem and alert you to the fact you need to clear some mail?

Never seen the first bit,

the second bit I mentioned a while ago in another thread but deserves one of its own. Would be good to see a number back.

The second bit I've had problems with in the last week :(
Yeh me three! Cant see a real reason why it was removed. Yes I know the voucher caused an overlap and screwed up the spacing, but it wouldnt be too hard to rectify I would have thought.

Not sure why the first point doesn't affect you both. Its always been an issue. Maybe its something in Opera (ie loading cache), but sure Ive seen it on other browsers.

I've never experienced the first issue.

The PM inbox and popup system is handled by vBulletin (the forum software, which also handles the rest of your control panel) so if there is any issue with a particular browser then it's not something that can be fixed by HUKD.

As for the second point, that would probably require the removal of the "voucher" link, or else it all overlaps and disappears in lower screen resolutions.

Would it be possible to change the message to say 'Inbox Full!' when someone has no PM space left - that shouldn't be much longer...

OK Cheers Ducky. As others have said they've not the problem, it must just be my browser setup.

I know that was the reason it was done, but it wouldnt be that hard to sort. I gave my voucher to C32 thing and I'm sure most have done the same or used now. It's been quite a while now and probably redundant. It could be placed next to the welcome tags and solve the problem without removing for example.

Jah's idea shouldnt be too hard to achieve either I would have thought?

Hmmm. Same machine... but using IE7 - I still have to refresh the page to get mail up. Maybe its just this machine? For once I've got all machines bar one switched off - but will check on the lappy later to see. And if it does it there.......
