I can recommend this one also. It's the same price and includes the same mouse as the ops. They both have laptop keys so the keyboards are slim. The large silver disc is a volume control.

Although this is a good dal, i have bought 2 set of wireless keyboard/mouse sets, you seen realise the true cost of these things is very expensive when you start changing the batteries in them every few weeks, The cheaper they are the more batteries they go through. We have a Microsoft wireless mouse at work, I only need to change the batteries once a year. So my advice is stay away from the cheap brands as you will be changing batteries every month or so and get frustrated when you want to use your computer but cant coz its out of batteries. I eventually got fed up and went back to a good old, basic, realiable wired mouse & wired keyboard.

These particular mice charge themselves up in the dock provided. 2x AAA NiMh Rechargeable batteries are supplied.

The keyboard uses 2x AAA alkalines, also supplied. I've only changed these batteries once so a years use has cost me 2x AAA alkalines, 50p at most. I can't say I'm a heavy keyboard user but they do appear to last a long time.

You come on a site all about getting bargains....... and you use disposable batteries?

Unbelievable!

Well, here is the biggest bargain of all - get some rechargeables and a charger, the savings are as big as anything that ever gets posted on here!

Unfortunately not all mice do have this arrangement, but all those I have come across run fine on NiMH rechargeables anyway.

I would suggest that not a lot of items posted on this site are going to be up to your high standards then, as stuff like this is precisely what gets posted

www.harrods.com might be more your thing.

It's actually NOT the same mouse. The original one is a 5-button model while this one only has 3. It might not make a big difference for most people but I can't use 3-button mice anymore now I'm used to the extra 2 buttons. It saves so much time when you're browsing the web! By default they act as your Previous / Forward buttons in the toolbar.

Great deal for a pack that includes not only a 5-button mouse but also a multimedia keyboard, same here, the extra keys make life a lot easier. What's more, it's wireless... So it's got to be hot for me!

I like the design of that other keyboard though, it looks classier... It would be worth posting it as a separate deal.

V good price. However, if, as the OP suggests, you might want to control your media center from your bed, the mouse is a bit difficult to use.

Although these http://www.ebuyer.com/product/106486 are more (currently £19.99 @ eBuer) they are a much better device for a "portable" keyboard as opposed to one you are using on a desktop, as you have a built-in trackball (plus scroll buttons etc). I have had this one for a year now to control my under-TV PC. Never changed the batteries and even wifey quickly got used to it.

I originally bought the (expensive) Microsof t equivalent - can't remember why, but there was something about it I didn;t like - so I resold it within a week, and replaced with this one. Only small issue has been that when the computer is brought out of hibernation (Vista) sometimes not all of the keys work. Easily resolved by unplugging and re-inserting the USB dongle.

Voted hot anyway for price.

I'm pretty sure this is almost identical to the one that I have. It's nice, but the problem is that the middle mouse button on the wheel is very hard, it's not like the soft click on the mouse.

Since I use it alot I found this to be quite annoying!
