Don't pay much attention to Vista scores They're pretty meaningless. This is good stuff. Got similar stuff in the wifes PC and it's fine. You won't get a great OC out of 2gb modules with timings like that but I don't think it's a big problem.

To the OP. You can actually get it for 52.29 from Novatech and you'll get it a day or two faster as well Good deal otherwise though

your a plumb the score is calculated on the lowest scoring device in your pc so if you have a £20graphics card that scores 2 2 will be your score no matter what the rest of your spec is and if you understood before blabbering out **** he ment the ram

i have some 667 of this in one of my media pc's and im running it at 800mhz at 5-5-5-15 with just 2volts i could maybe tighten those timmings up but still a good overclock. This is great ram and anyone who's had issues with compatibility will know what i mean this is the ram that always works my media pc with a new asus intel g35 motherboard turned its nose up at my geil 800 i kept getting memory errors so was forced to put in the 667 corsair i was disappointed losing performance but they OC'ed to 800mhz with loser timmings so i now wont bother buying some 1066mhz because the corsairs fine.

4 GB of RAM is the most you can have for 32-bit operating systems. Anymore than that just isn't recognised.

Surprising how quick prices fall, I paid a little more than the price of this deal for this same memory but a 1gb stick, actually brought two for £110 a little over a year ago. Not much to say really, faultless memory, latency is a little bit high but for the average user they're spot on. For a fiver more you can get 2x2gb CL4 rated OCZ sticks which do run at slightly higher 2.1v http://www.ebuyer.com/product/138562

In a 32 bit operating system the full 4GB will NOT be recognised, normally it will see around 3-3.5GB. To fully "see" and utilise this amount of RAM a 64 bit operating system is required.

Stop arguing about pointless rubbish

The Vista scores are only a VERY VERY approximate indication of performance and should be taken with a bag of salt.

Unless you overclock you're really not going to see much difference at all in the performance between say 533mhz RAM and 1066mhz RAM for most C2D processors released before the start of this year. I get 5.9 in Vista for my RAM (2x1gb sticks of 1066mhz DDR2) but I could just as well use some 667mhz RAM and be getting the same results. There was a site who did a whole load of benchmarks which showed that for C2D processors buying fancy fast RAM is pointless unless you overclock. It escapes me though. Like I said the Vista "benchmarks" are veeeeery approximate so I wouldn't really pay much attention to them.

I may go for the one u listed , u say it runs slighty higher at 2.1v what does this mean? can i just put this in my Dell pc and it will run without doing anything else?
I can afford to go up to £80 so anything better then the aboves if u could list would be great as i dont have a clue.
Thanks
