customise seach

i would really like to be able to set my searches to automatically display only deals hotter than 50 etc but i always have to go into advanced to do this. do you think there is enough demand for a customisable search facility similar to the custom tab where it remembers your preferences each time??or maybe some extra little tick boxes on the search page to automatically select some of the most popular functions that people use in the advanced search. thanks
