Remove post count from display?

Does it really matter that the post count is shown? It is only an indication of how many times that they have posted.

i see your point but i think its real handy when comes to complete newbie ......ie someone trying to sell something on their very first post. I know it says they havent sold anything and month they joined . But other newbies perhaps been on the forum few weeks just chatting and not posting deals so w/o post count you wouldnt know the difference

I don't think it really makes any difference how much the person has posted when they are selling, instead I would look at what participation they have had in the forum. Post count really means nothing, you could have someone selling an item who is triple posting in loads of misc threads to bump their post count up high whereas you could have someone who only occasionally posts but in a more worthwhile way.

I have mentioned a few times that I think the forum would be far better off without post counts, while people claim they don't care about it clearly a large part of the misc forum is governed by post counts.

I think its good to see the post count.... sadly some people choose to have multiple ID's... I think you know where I am coming from.

I couldn't give a damn about post count, but I'm not sure theres any reason to remove it.

It makes me happy, for example recently I had 1337 posts. It made me smile.
