I picked up a Sony WLA-NWB1 Bluetooth Adapter from Dixons tax free for £8.50 yesterday. I mean't to post sooner but forgot.

I know it's not the greatest deal but might be usefull for someone.

Cheapest elsewhere is £35.00.

Very expensive, and particularly large, so not even much use for leaving plugged into a laptop; especially wide. Other much better deals posted recently, this sort of thing can be as cheap as 3 quid and a lot smaller too.

You have misunderstood this product. It is NOT a USB Bluetooth dongle; it is a Bluetooth adapter for the Sony NW MP3 players, presumably to allow wireless streaming or use of Bluetooth headphones. The connector is not USB, it is a proprietary Sony plug.

As the OP says, these usually retail for £40-50 so this deal is an excellent one.

Used to having a bluetooth Walkman phone, so I never thought about such kit existing
