Not really HD ready edi (sorry could not resist that one )

Other site say it has component video in so would display an HD signal if no HDCP used. So it is HD compatable at best

But no HDMI or HDCP enabled DVI socket so not strictly HD Ready

Also very slow response time of 25ms so maybe some blurring of fast moving pictures

hth

Thanks for the feedback EliTom

I posted here because, price-wise, the deal is good. Misco sells the same TV for £570 and DABS for £397.

Yep, it's HDTV-compatible (it has the resolution for HDTV) but not HDTV-ready (it lacks the HDMI inputs required to connect the next generation of high-def DVD players and satellite boxes.

Good price though, worth buying. You can get it a little cheaper from ShopAcer: £373 delivered.

i wouldn't bother...ebuyer are pretty unreliable and are likely to send you an email saying they have none in stock and then try and sell them to you at a higher price!!
terrible company

I've used eBuyer for a number of years now and always found them reliable and responsible. The few instances where I've had to return an item have been handled very well. The only problem I have with them is the courier company they insist on using, which seems to deliberately wait until you pop out so they can put a failed delivery card through your door. ;)
