For all have bought a big LCD recently. After some research, I found this stand has the best value for money. I ordered it from amazon 20 days ago, now it is in stock.

I need a good stand!

Besides this, I came across this (image below): http://www.ebuyer.com/product/131621 also in eBuyer. Even yesterday it was going for 59.99 but today, I see its 79.99

Btw, does anyone else has either the stand in the deal or the one I'm looking at? As for the one in the deal, someone in Amazon commented that the front legs are plastic, is that true?

P.S. There's also http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/redirect....&creative=6738, clear glass

and http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/redirect....&creative=6738 piano black finish

These are OK, I have the tinted one, but one problem. The legs are quite thin, and are glued at the top. If you slide the stand back and forth, as you do when setting up your new TV, it can exert a lot of force on the glue. My glue came apart, rendering the stand practically useless.

Fortunately Amazon changed it, and I am now careful to hold the let at the top and bottom when sliding it. So if you do buy this stand, be aware of that weakness.

Note - if the stand is set up and not moved it should be fine, as the only force on the leg is downwards.

Thanks for the info. Looks like my case for the more expensive stand for eBuyer is getting stronger!

The only problem is, eBuyer is not as good as Amazon for customer service and delivery, I've heard some horror stories!

You might want to check out this stand:

Thread for it is here: http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/21168...stand-32-50-w/

I personally think that's gotta be one of the cheapest cantilevers going, they are generally really expensive!

Superb price. Think I'll pick this up if the one that I'm looking at on ebay goes too high.

At least Amazon took it back, but repacking it was murder (it weighted a ton and the cardboard was flimsy).

Maybe look for a solid one from Amazon then, with thicker legs
