Free Refills on Soft Drinks at Slough Asda MCDonalds.

Just been to Asda in Slough and in their MCDonalds restaraunt there is self service on soft drinks. I asked the man if it was free refills and he says it is. So you just get a small coke or whatever for 60 or 70p and its unlimited. Good deal I think.

UPDATE- Seems many stores are doing these refills please add in if you know a store near you which has free refills.

Don't know why this is getting cold?

This is the first I've ever heard of macdonalds having self service on drinks....About time though, the yanks have had this for years...Hope this spreads to all macdonalds....

Cant understand why, in those branches where it is self service, would they give you a choice of size. Surely they realise that anyone with any sense is going to buy the smallest ones.

Could be an asdas only thing as the asdas by me has self serve yet the billion other near by ones dont!?!

Maybe the bloke at the Slough McDonald's is just an idiot, I've seen looooooooooooooooads of McD's with the drinks machine in the customer area and all I have seen have a great big sign above saying 'NO FREE REFILLS!!!'

I think in this case you should just go up and grab a refill if you want one - that's unless a member of McDonalds staff actively pulls a gun on you for abusing their services....

I do the same with salad bowls in the harvester and pizza hut - the staff try and take the bowl off you after your starter/first bowl - I keep hold of my bowl(or plate) and grab some more if I want some during my meal/the pizza - no one tries to stop me and I'm only using up stuff that will in all reality be thrown out in a few hours time.

Asda High Wycome Coke is very watery - ugh.
Which is probably why the refills are free.
