I bought this in Sainsburys a day or two back (last one Fosse Park, Leicester) and it doesn't seem to work on my 4G 'click wheel' 40gb. I'll keep it as I was planning to upgrade my Ipod soon anyway but just a word of warning for anyone considering. 35 quid is stupid money for what it is...you can buy a whole MP3 or even a whole DAB or FM radio for less than that!

It seems to be this Remote which is compatible with 5th generation Video, Classic and Nano only. If they have one in my local store I’ll be really happy.

Because I don’t know of any cheap portable FM radios that work as a remote control for my iPod.

It is compatible with the Classic, I bought one earlier this year with my CPW voucher.

Worth mentioning that although I didn't buy it for the FM radio funtionality I haven't managed to tune into a single station yet!

I actually bought it for changing tracks without taking my iPod out of my pocket. As it uses the dock connector it is also supposed to bypass the volume limiter, but I haven't noticed any difference.

You will also get a new set of Apple earphones included in the pack.

I tried my local store in South Wales and they are labelled at full price and scan at the full price. I’m glad I phoned them rather than drove in; they were really helpful on the phone.

Also spotted IPOD UNIVERSAL DOCK for £8.50 spec as follows
Compatible with all iPods with dock connector (Excludes Shuffle).
Connects to PC or Mac via USB cable, TV or stereo via AV cable sold seperately.
Includes remote control.
1 3V battery supplied.
my brother works in the bakery in my local sainsburys ( tunbridge wells ) and has told me these are not available at all stores.
I brought the radio remote and have tuned in radio one , radio 2 , classic fm , my local KMFM , and another station not sure what it is though.
