Colin McRae: DIRT is set to be the most diverse and exhilarating off-road racing experience ever with sensational gravel, mud and dirt events the world over. Events will include the series' intense point-to-point races and then take players further off-road than ever before.

Race in challenging heavyweight 850bhp cars, drifting on the loose gravel and high-speed blind corners of Hill Climb events along perilous cliff edges. All 12.4 miles of the world famous Pikes Peak International is included, with over 150 precarious turns to negotiate through the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.

How about engaging in multiple car races with Dakar-style trucks and super-powered 4x4s on the toughest desert terrain in Rally Raid competitions? Then there are Rally Cross events, switching between dirt and road racing, where the competition is always tight, fast and collisions with your opponents are inevitable.

With more off-road racing styles to be revealed, Colin McRae: DIRT will also offer a dedicated mode for European, International and Global rally championships featuring official 2WD, 4WD, Classic and RWD rally cars.

Looks sold out to me, can't place an order. (I have just registered and went to add my card details to see if that made a difference - got to the security screen and it says it is going to charge me £1 !!!). Unless that gets refunded I don't think I'll bother!

the £1 charge is just a test charge, it doesn't actually get credited to the account, it will dissapear from your online bank checking system within a few days

We're not sold out, we're just waiting for stock to arrive which should be either this afternoon or tomorrow morning. Once they arrive we’ll ship out all pre-orders made right away!

"the thing wnn" is correct too warnie, the test transaction just reserves a pound and this is never actually taken. You may notice a pound difference in your available and current balance but this automatically re-appears after a day or two.

i felt so let down by this game when it came out due to it not having ghost cars in online rally mode,
which is what made previous versions of mcrae amazin against friends
i blamed it on codemasters giving the title to an american dev team at the time , HOWEVER
the same engine has now been used in GRID(toca renamed) with online play & the game rocks
