when people keep posting from a certain site, it can mean that they are affiliated with that company (hence the logic "nxsfan").

will admit that i didn't check your previous posts zeshan95 and I appologize for that, was trying to make a comment on overclockers bad service, it was badly worded.

"choco12345" are you saying that nobody gives a "sh*t" about customer service? erm... did you read any of the review links posted? sorry, but i would rather pay a bit extra and recieve the kind of customer support that scan and ebuyer have given me in the past.

Ok, I took a chance on this one, my first order with Overclockers too, the card arrived today and....

Disappointing to say the least.

Despite advertising the card at the correct 8800GT specs I received an ECS '8800GT' that for some reason has the memory underclocked at 700mhz (as opposed to the 900Mhz standard spec). Actually, it isn't technically underclocked as I think it likely ECS have put memory on the card can simply run no faster than that .

As you might expect the card doesn't perform nearly as well as it should, (it's not much better than an 8600gt on its own) its also quite noisy and to have the thing run in SLI with my 'real' 8800GT I'd have to gimp the real one leading to a marginal performance boost at best.

Anyways, I've requested an RMA on the basis they have not sent me the product as advertised. Have to wait and see how they respond.
