Just bought one of these great bikes for my son and thought I'd spread the joy. These bikes are virtually impossible to find at less than RRP....

A1 Premium Aluminium 24" frame with externally relieved head tube. Double-butted and formed ORE down and top tube, with disc mount and forged drop outs with a replaceable alloy hanger.
Fork:
RST Capa T24ML fork with 50mm of travel and 25.4mm stanchions and a 1 1/8" steerer. One piece alloy lowers with spring assisted seals, and coil spring mcu with preload adjust and mechanical lockout.
Front Derailleur:
Shimano Altus FD-M310-6. Top swing with a 34.9mm clamp.
Accessories:
Chain stay protector, reflectors, clear coat.
Seat Binder:
Alloy collar with quick release.
Seatpost:
Alloy micro adjust. 27.2mm
Saddle:
Specialized BG Kids MTB saddle with Kevlar sides. Front and rear bumpers.

In comparison to what? A Halfords/Apollo/Tescos death-trap?

This is a "proper" bike for kids, that can cope with "proper" riding - Triathalons, trail centres etc.

And yes they are almost impossible to find less than RRP (unless you're buying it from Evans who bought up all Specialised's free stock earlier this week)

I will never in my life own a Spec however. I won't ride around on something with Specializzzzzzzzed written on the side of it., Unless Americans suddenly learn to spell words properly
