Asics Gel Kayano 14 for 83.95 Delivered

£83.95

-79°

FOUND BY: not_the_messiah 1 year, 2 months ago

From what I understand, meant to be the best running shoe on the market, although I sure that there will be opinions to the contrary on this! It's the cheapest price I could find, so thought I would share! :)

I think people would rather buy Nikes rather than Asics at that price.

I haven't voted cold but a running shoe is only good if it fits. Personally I would rather spend a bit more and go to a proper sports shop.

Would never run in Nike, if running I would use a shoe is is specially designed for running

Currently running in Asics 2120's but going to upgrade soon as only a few 100 miles left in mine now, may have a look in a few months

Only if they are ignorant fashion-conscious trendy b*******s!

Which i have to admit was me a few years ago, but Asics are definitely greater than Nike for fully technical running shoes

The best running shoes I ever got were from the Reebok Premier Road range, beforehand I would have bought the Kayanos but it took me a while to realise they didn't suit me.

Which is why you shouldn't buy running shoes on line, unless you want some nikes to pose in.

If anyone is looking for a new pair of running shoes and you have a "up and running" shop near you they provide free gait test where you can either bring your current running shoes or they will give you various pairs from the shop to try. you run on one of their treadmills and they video your feet and determine your running style and what sort of shoe would best suit you to whether you over or under pronate.

http://www.upandrunning.co.uk/

Going to do mine when I come back off holiday as they have just opened a store in Liverpool

Yeah, but some runners get through 5-6 pairs a year.
If you've found your ideal shoe, then ordering more of the same online shouldn't pose any risk.

Don't like the Kayano personally. 'Heavy', rigid sole. Lots of ankle support is a plus, but the lack of flexibility in the mid/forefoot region led to loads of blisters.

Stock up on your favourite shoe if Sweatshop ever run their BOGOF promotion again
