I was considering buying one and ripping out the hard drive to put in my PS3, but I'll wait a bit longer as hard drive prices are dropping quite quickly!

I bought one a few months ago and the 320gb drive sits very happily in my laptop

I guess so; just thought that maybe certain programmes or games etc would run faster if the storage was in the computer and not extraneous to it

I bought this drive new from Ebay for under £65 last week.

The drive inside inside it is a WD SATA Scorpio Blue which is the recommended drive for upgrading a PS3 !
