yeah, they won't wash properly stained clothing, or to be honest, even mildly stained, but for normal day to day, they are fine, as as said above, no chemicals, dirt cheap, no brainer!

I prefer the Eco Balls, and they actually clean clothes with dirt on them. They also work out at about 3p per wash, £25 delivered from the ethical superstore.
You need to clean your washing machine out first though.

Just to chip in my 2 cents. The deal is a good one as it lets people try out a product at a very low cost. However though having purchased soap nuts in the past I cannot say I was greatly impressed with them and quickly went back to using soap powder.

Good price for what equates to a trial pack of soap nuts but you wouldn't find me ordering them.
