Vista really really needs 2gb RAM, this only has 1. Not a massive hard disc... depends what you want to use it for

Vista really really needs 2gb RAM, this only has 1. Not a massive hard disc... depends what you want to use it for
as a bare minimum. even then its the worst OS EVER !

Good price but wouldn't ever buy Acer, their CS is dire

Not a bargain in my opinion. Acer partition the hard drve so you'll end up with 2 small equal partitions, a lack of RAM, and an average processor.

I disagree about Acer CS though, if you get a helpful person on the phone they are usually not too bad.

My new PC runs Vista with only 1GB of RAM absolutely fine*. I admit the first thing I did was turn off the flashy new interface - and I wouldn't even try to run any games on it. But I wouldn't say that Vista needs 2GB of RAM.

*I have Winamp, iTunes, OpenOffice, Firefox (with several tabs open and many extensions installed) all running right now and I don't see any slowdown. Windows Task Manager reports 74% RAM is currently being used.

I have an Acer it does have 3GB of RAM and Vista Premium and it runs fine. I agree some aspects of Vista need imporving like driver support but its fine for home use after all it is based on XP.

If you think Vista is the worst OS Ever have you ever tried Wiindows ME? that was alot lot worse.
I belive Vista works fine with the 1GB of RAM with all the gimmics turned off and over all this laptop is a bargin votted hot.

Also because Acer partition the HD in 2 is no reason to say its not a good deal almost all manufatures do this now!

Also I think there is 10% voucher that can be used.

This is a great laptop for £299!

Also the 10% off code WDISC001BCP can still be used making this £273.05. You won't find a better laptop for this price.

I ordered this very Laptop from Bargain Crazy when they had 30% off. I got it then at £280!
As the name suggests they are CRAZY!!! they sent me a T7300 120gb with webcam although it was a 1gb ram i upgraded it to 4gb for an extra £35.
BARGAIN from a CRAZY company!
