Playing HD films and file on a PC?

POSTED BY: geoneo123 2 months, 1 week ago

I am thinking of getting a blu-ray drive for my PC

I have downloaded a few HD files and would like to know the best PC software to play them also to test my PC out at the same time before spending any money

Thanks in advance

I use VLC for HD content.
I find WMP and other well-known programs to be far too bloated to be able to playback HD content well.

Try something called "KM Player" seems to work well enough for my mate Jon when we watch stuff at his house, onlt thing is, make sure your PC is up to scratch, I tried running "The Matrix" at 1080p on my poor little P4 2.66 and it couldnt decode it quick enough, lol

Hope that helps,

Mike..
