Wooden Spiral Train Set - Half Price at £19.99 @ Toys R Us

£19.99

205°

FOUND BY: Kiddson 1 year, 2 months ago

Have lots of fun with this great spiral train set that includes track, trees, buildings and trains that connect together with magnets!

I haven't seen anything nearly as cheap anywhere for a set like this (I would say around 30 pieces). Perfect for a small present if you have nephews and nieces, and parents always love wooden toys. Not mentioning that they last forever, I know a little boy that still plays with his grand father's toys...

to be honest it looks like you are paying for the pillars. you can buy brio compatible wooden track in ikea for about £4..definately not worth £40 and still questionable at £19.99. only my opinion tho

Does anyone have anything like this. I know it says age 3+ (like most things nowadays, just to cover themselves), but do you think a 2 year old would be ok with this or would they just keep destructing it?

My 20mth old plays with a Brio set at his Nannas - in fact, it was once his Daddys!
He absolutely loves it, he does push the trains around it but he doesnt always realise his dragging his body over the track!
Every time we go round though hes asking for 'trains'!
We have bought him a Wooden Thomas set for Xmas (he will be 5 days off 2).

ETA: some of the Thomas Wooden Railway sets actually say 2+yrs.

The Ikea stuff if compatible could be useful for extending these sets, but you look at the amount of track in the original deal and accessories and you would have to buy several packs of the Ikea stuff to compare plus the trains and wouldn't be any cheaper. Kids will love the accessories on the Toys R Us one

Hot deal

Blimey £60, I almost kicked myself for buying it from TOYSRUS and then noticed it was out of stock....I hope no one ever tells me it is in stock otherwise i'll have to cause myself some pain !
