Saw a similar (but more expensive) post to this months ago but our local Asda never had stock.

Yesterday they had a full vertical plastic strip of these packs of 4 for just £3.

Hybrio are pretty decent rechargeable batteries that retain their charge better than most, in my experience.

I paid £3 for 4 about a month ago. Asda Chapeltown (Sheffield). They only had 2 packs and I've not seen them restock any since then.

What bugs me about this site is people putting stuff on that is local to their tiny little district. NOT national, not listed on website, not available to me. This is the third deal in a row I have been tempted to look at that turns out to be local to a place nowhere near me. Yea it sounds good, but is it a UK (as in national) hot deal......?

Sorry if we don't all live in the metropolis, but my tiny little district is actually a relatively large town (now a city) - how do you know it's not national?

This wasn't a manager / store special price.

It's been posted here in the past and found nationally so my guess is that these things just sell pretty damn quick - I bought 4 packs.

That's not really fair BeerGoggles - how could the op know whether it's a national or local deal?

These are great batteries and I'm after more so will be checking the local Asda as soon as I can.

Regarding the fast charge question I've never known the answer but since a set of 4 last at least 500 pictures in my camera and I've three sets I've never needed to risk the fast charger.
