Just realised it's got a USB input in it too (i never read that 1st time), USB powered is great if you have thousands of plugs behind the PC like me, handsfree too.
Hope you guys like it, i aint posted much.
Cheers

Voted hot but what does it actually do... I've looked at the pictures on the website and...are there two separate handsets, one for voip & one for regular? Or is it purely just a voip phone which also doubles up as speakers? I'm using a regular DECT handset with a voip usb adapter for cordless use myself.

Hey tubby20076, just a quick question. Is the voip usb adapter any good? Any sound issues, latency etc?? Which brand and model is it??

thanks

One is the phone, one is the mono speaker. It has a post-it storage tray and a pen holder; also a USB through port - it's quite big and ugly though.

I agree with most of what u said. It is big but i kind of like the look.
At present i'm using a VoIP phone on a cord and its a nuisance, this sits on the desk, the cable wont trip you up and u can use it handsfree, the USB socket is handy too. All for £7.60. Hot for me.

Quidco has tracked already (1 hour).

If I buy two of these can I use one in the USA with my laptop and give one to my girlfriend in the UK to use with my desktop PC?? Will the calls be free too via skype?? By the way my laptop is vista and my desktop is XP if that makes any difference?

Sorry for the belated reply

I actually bought a 2nd-hand one off ebay. Looking at it, it's an unbranded grey one, it has USB TELBOX written on it though. Basically they're all the same imho.
In terms of call quality, it is infact really good, and it is much more convenient using a DECT cordless phone than any of those *specialised* voip phones.
There is occasional latency issues though, but say over the course of an hour long conversation there will be at most 10 sentences misheard or blacked out, but just do what I do and ask them to say it again
No sound issues though, the software has inbuilt sound adjustment, as does your DECT phone I should imagine, like mine does.

Buy 2 and send one to UK, Skype to Skype calls are free, skype also features webcam too. You can see who is online (just like MSN). I'd expect this may work on MSN too, but i don't know as mine hasn't arrived yet.

A good review posted above from an owner of this very phone, so quality appears ok.
